Missing

Dear Readers,

I miss writing to you and also getting out my thoughts.

Warren and I were away on road trip from May 3-20 and while we were away I only wrote one blog. I had my laptop and thought of many blogs to write but was making the most of our vacation together and we were quite busy. We drove 6500km and saw many places, towns, cities and much more randomness. Random became our word for the trip. It was quite funny.

This Sunday I am taking part in the Shawingan Lake Triathlon as a part of the ‘BeScottie’ team. My partner Blair Scott will be doing the swim and bike portion of the tri and I will be running the half marathon.

Our team name is a combination of our two last names. As I have never met Blair it was the best that I could come up with but we both liked it.

Tomorrow I am off to get my race kit and find out more about what is in store for me and where I will need to be race day.

I am looking forward to this event because I have never done one before. I will be posting a blog about my experience after the race on Sunday.

I just wanted to touch base and say that I haven’t forgotten about you and thank you to those who still take a look at my blog.
